Dimensions in Sound

Dimensions In Sound is a group of 17 volunteer musicians who perform big band music of the 1930s, ’40s and early ’50s.

Currently, it is directed by Dave Rush.

Music consists of the typical instrumentation of the big band era – saxophone, trombone and trumpet sections, keyboard, guitar, bass and drums. Exact musical arrangements of the great bands are performed along with newer arrangements plus polkas, waltzes, holiday and rock selections. To help raise funds in support of DISSO’s mission, Dimensions In Sound also performs for wedding receptions, dances and other private functions.
